This last Saturday I had my baby shower which was really nice. It was at Eric's parents house in their backyard, it was SO pretty! It was thrown by family and friends. Lots of people came to shower Carson with love and gifts! It was really nice! I will post pictures once I get them.
After the shower Jamie and I went to exchange a couple of things and use gift cards to get the rest of the things Carson would need. Thank you Jamie for helping since I was SO stinking tired, I could NOT have done that without her help! Then the next day I spent washing things and finding a place for everything. Then on Monday I had to finish putting things away and my mom came over and helped me clean the house since today the carpets are being cleaned, well right now actually, which is why I am on here wasting time while they clean my nasty carpet. Now my house feels clean finally and Carson's room is done, which is SO nice!!!! Good thing, I could use the break to just chill until he comes. I have been working on Carson's room and cleaning so much I literally felt sick from exhaustion. I just don't realize how being pregnant drains you until it's too late and I am laying on the sofa with an ice pack on my head in tears because my body hurts so bad. I think I may stick to reading, a little shopping, and relaxing from now till the end! I feel really good as long as I don't overdo it, I think I am having a hard time learning that lesson though. : )
I had a doctors appointment today and found out I am still the exact same. Carson is still breech, no fun! And still slightly effaced. If he stays as he is I will have a c-section my 39th week, if he does not try to come earlier. My doctor will be out of town starting the day before my due date for 2 weeks-I really hope he can deliver Carson so I hope it all works out. In a perfect world Carson would flip around and come on his own a week or two early so my doctor can still deliver him. But that would be a perfect world right? I am suppose to lay down 4 times a day for 20 minutes with my hips elevated with pillows to try to get him to switch around. So you bet I will be doing that! When he was doing the ultrasound he said Carson was opening his mouth and had his arms up, I don't know why be didn't have the monitor next to me on so I could see, but at least he gave me a picture. You can tell he is much bigger. I can't wait to see him!!!!

I can't wait to see pics of the shower! Sounds like you had a good one.
I'll be praying that Carson flips. :) Take it easy, little mama.
