Relaxing, what?
Ahhhhh...my precious little boy is asleep and the house is quiet, except for our VERY loud fridge that seriously is annoying, other than that it is so peaceful. Daisy is asleep at my feet and I am watching Community and eating cheerios with mini chocolate chips, life is pretty good. I realize that I never get to sit for very long and it is much appreciated when I do. Now that Carson is teething he is more demanding, I don't mind at all, I just realize now I never sit and relax. I usually just go straight to bed, no tv. Or I watch my shows while feeding or cleaning. This is a rare moment. It would be much better if my husband were here with me enjoying this rare moment, but he is working hard, for free : ( getting his clinical hours. Carson and I can't wait for him to be done with school and have more time with us! He works so hard, but I know he will LOVE doing the job he is meant to do and he will be great at it and he will have so many opportunities to help people, which is his passion. So for now I will enjoy this quiet moment alone until my husband graduates and can join me. I think I will go check on my adorable sleeping baby now, cuz sleeping babies are the best- they are so snuggly and cute!

Carson's first Halloween
He went as Carson the Cable Guy with a camo beanie that said Git-R-Done on it. We cut off a flannel shirt and the transformation was hil-larry-ous!!! haha, I am SO cheesy. Here he is on my dads lap while we all laughed at him...I mean we laughed with him of course.
Eric and Carson both had their work boots on.
There he is making his daddy laugh, just like Larry.
My mom holding him at the church carnival...I don't think that many people from church know who Larry is....haha. We tried to find a temporary tattoo that said "mom" but couldn't find one, so the Mater tattoo bandaid my mom got him was perfect!
Blair went the cute route as a piggy, it was the most adorable pig costume!

We all had Git-R-Done hats on...thanks to Eric of course. I originally said no way to the Larry the Cable Guy thing, but I think it was pretty cute and funny in the end.
This picture was on Halloween Eve, I love it because he looks so little and babyish!!!

Howl-o-ween contest
Today we went and entered Daisy in a Howl-o-ween dog costume contest. This dog named Oscar won best overall dog costume...Oscar the grouch was SO cute. They even dyed him green and everything , it was hilarious.
There was a category for best dog and owner costume and we thought Daisy and Carson had it in the bag until right before the judging started a man in a whoopie cushion costume walked up with his dog as a skunk and took the prize, we SO had it until then! My little bumble bee and Daisy were the cutest!
This is my sister-in-law Molly and Cooper. Cooper was Indiana Jones, haha. He has little arms and everything. Oh and Molly and I had on the same green tank from Banana Republic, not to mention the same haircut and we even guessed the same number of dog biscuits in the jar, 72, how random is that? It was very strange!
It was fun to see all the dogs dressed up, there were boxers dressed as actual boxers with boxing gloves. My mom and sister came too, my mom saw her grand -doggers and grandson all dressed up. I think Carson enjoyed all the dogs, that is until he couldn't keep his little eyes open anymore and buzzed himself to sleep, I'd never seen a bumble bee suck its thumb before, who knew!

Oh the possibilities!
I took Carson to the doctor yesterday and he has a sore throat and the doctor expected him to get a cold and have a fever this weekend...she was right. He really seems to be fine now that his throat feels better, he just sneezes and coughs a little. So I am trying not to take him out much and let him get lots of sleep and milk. Especially since I think I am coming down with a cold too, oh well I have a good snuggle buddy. So I have been shopping online of course while he sleeps.
I ordered this Christmas stocking for him...and of course Santa has already been finding things to fill it up! : ) So fun!
I havn't ordered any of this bathroom stuff, but I am REALLY tempted. It is taking a lot of strength to not go crazy here. Right now his bathroom is green and pink, that has to change. I think I want to do his bathroom in Dr. Seuss. I would have to paint the bathroom, but I think it would be so cute. I think Carson would love to take a bath if he had Dr. Seuss bath towels!
With these cute accessories.....I love them.

I could get a cheaper bath mat at target or walmart, but this is awful cute...
I know it is early, but this is such cute bedding for his big boy bed. I love it. The sheets are so fun and bright, what kid wouldn't want those!? Then I could frame some pages of Dr. Seuss books and display them on a magazine shelf. I am already for his big boy room...too bad that means Carson has to get bigger, I REALLY like him being 4 months!
I am sure my mind will change a million times, but for today I like this one. Oh the possibilites!

Pumpkin Patch...
I took these pictures with Carson's skull cap today after we went to the pumpkin patch.
He looks so tough with a skull on his hat, so cute!
These pictures were taken by Carson's Uncle Kyle, they are really great, especially since Carson was having a meltdown since he was so tired. There were so many good pictures still, even though he wasn't in the smiling mood, that I just put a few on here. Our friends little girl Blair went to and so they both had a photo shoot. There are no cuter pictures than babies at a pumpkin patch!

Mega meltdowns!

Teething and shots oh my.....
Teething and shots at the same time really bites!!! He was doing so good sleeping through the nights finally and then came the teething so we have been up a couple times at night due to that. Then he got his shots and he has been up every 2 1/2 to 3 hours crying like he is hurting since he got those. Eric is home thank goodness so we have been taking shifts during the night. We are so tired, Eric is napping right now, I stink at taking naps so Carson and I have been laying on the floor on a blanket. I have been holding his cold teething ring in his mouth as he chews like crazy. Poor little guy. He finally seems to not be running a fever from the shots though, so that is good. The first 2 days after his shots he just wanted to be held and cuddled and he was so hot I just gave him a cold teether to suck on and hold to cool him down some. Although I hate seeing him miserable, it was nice to have all the snuggles from him. Well I better go and entertain him now, lets hope tonight we get some sleep around here!

Happy Birthday Eric!
Eric's birthday pretty much was all about food, and there is NO better gift than food for a man, seriously just feed them! His birthday food extravaganza started off with the most yummy waffles ever using the Williams Sonoma pumpkin pecan spiced waffle mix. Ya they are pretty much the best waffles ever and they make your whole house smell like fall, mmmmmm. Then we went to church and I made him some fish tacos for lunch with some halibut we had left over.
So for Eric's birthday we always either go out to dinner, usually Elephant bar for jambalaya or I make him dinner, usually cornned beef and cabbage is his request. This birthday was actually different, he wanted jambalaya and boy was it good! I made it really spicy because he asked for it that way, it was probably too spicy for me, and poor Carson for that matter : ). He said this jambalaya beat Elephant bars, I guess so considering I made it with halibut, shrimp, chicken and sausage... the man loves meat! It was seriously yummy, it started out as Paula Deens recipe, but I pretty much ended up changing the whole thing. Then I made a flourless amaretto chocolate torte, Emeril Lagasse. It was also amazingly yummy and super chocolaty, with a chocolate icing on top that I added to the recipe because the more chocolate the better and because everything is better with chocolate icing. You could really taste the amaretto in the cake, it was so good. And there is plenty of amaretto left for cold weather in my coffee. Mmmmmm.
So all in all I think Eric had a great birthday with a belly full of all his favorite food.
